Ingredients
  

Chili Sauce
  • 1 tablespoon Olive oil
  • 1 medium Onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 1 pound Ground beef
  • 1 can Kidney beans, drained
  • 1 can Diced tomatoes
  • 2 tablespoons Chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon Cumin
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Black pepper
Hot Dogs
  • 4 pieces Hot dogs
  • 4 pieces Hot dog buns
  • 1 cup Shredded cheese Cheddar or your choice
  • 1/4 cup Chopped green onions For garnish

Method
 

Prepare the Chili Sauce
  1. Heat olive oil in a large pot over medium heat. Add chopped onion and garlic, sauté until softened.
  2. Add ground beef to the pot, cook until browned. Drain excess fat.
  3. Stir in kidney beans, diced tomatoes, chili powder, cumin, salt, and pepper. Simmer for 20 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Cook the Hot Dogs
  1. Grill or boil hot dogs according to package instructions until heated through.
  2. Place hot dogs in buns and top generously with chili sauce.
  3. Sprinkle shredded cheese and chopped green onions on top before serving.
