  • 1 lb beef flank steak, thinly sliced against the grain
  • 4 cups fresh broccoli florets
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup oyster sauce
  • 2 tbsp low-sodium soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp cornstarch
  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil canola or peanut
  • 1 tbsp brown sugar

Cooking Instructions
  1. Marinate the sliced flank steak in a mixture of soy sauce, cornstarch, and a pinch of salt for about 30 minutes.
  2. Blanch broccoli florets in boiling water for 2 minutes until bright green and crisp. Drain and set aside.
  3. In a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat, add vegetable oil and sauté minced garlic for about 30 seconds.
  4. Add marinated beef to the skillet in an even layer; cook for 3-4 minutes until browned on all sides.
  5. Stir in the blanched broccoli along with oyster sauce and brown sugar; toss to coat evenly.
  6. Cook together for another 2 minutes until heated through. Serve warm over rice or noodles.
