  • 1 teaspoon paprika for garnish

  • 1/4 cup carrot shavings for beaks and feet

Method
 

Cooking Steps
  1. Hard boil the eggs by placing them in a pot and covering them with water. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 12 minutes.
  2. After cooking, cool the eggs in ice water and peel them.
  3. Cut the eggs in half lengthwise and remove the yolks.
  4. In a bowl, mash the yolks with mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, and salt until smooth.
  5. Spoon or pipe the yolk mixture back into the egg whites.
  6. Sprinkle paprika on top for color.
  7. Use olives for the eyes and carrot shavings or slices for beaks and feet to decorate.
