Method
 

Preparation
  1. Wash and dry the strawberries and grapes thoroughly. Skewer about three pieces of fruit onto each wooden stick.
Syrup Preparation
  1. In a medium saucepan, combine sugar and water over medium heat. Stir until dissolved, then boil without stirring until it reaches 240°F (115°C).
Coating
  1. Remove from heat and carefully dip each skewer into the syrup, allowing excess syrup to drip off before placing on parchment paper.
Setting
  1. Let the skewers sit at room temperature for about 30 minutes until the candy coating hardens.
