Ingredients
  

Fruit Base
  • 2 cups fresh fruit such as strawberries, raspberries, or peaches
  • 1 cup granulated sugar adjust based on fruit sweetness
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice freshly squeezed
Pectin
  • 1 package fruit pectin such as Sure-Jell or Ball

Method
 

Prepare the Fruit
  1. Wash and hull the fresh fruit. Mash the fruit in a mixing bowl using a fork until desired consistency is reached.
Mix Ingredients
  1. Add the granulated sugar and lemon juice to the mashed fruit. Stir well and let it sit for about 10 minutes.
  2. Sprinkle the fruit pectin over the mixture and stir for 2-3 minutes until fully dissolved.
Store the Jam
  1. Pour the jam into freezer-safe containers, leaving some space at the top for expansion. Seal tightly.
  2. Label the containers with the date and type of jam. Place in the freezer.

Notes
