Ingredients
  

Taco Filling
  • 1 lb Ground Chicken
  • 1 tbsp Olive Oil for cooking
  • 1 tsp Chili Powder
  • 1 tsp Cumin
  • 1 tsp Garlic Powder
  • 1 tsp Onion Powder
  • 0.5 tsp Salt to taste
  • 0.25 tsp Black Pepper to taste
  • 0.5 cup Onion diced
  • 1 cup Bell Pepper diced
Taco Assembly
  • 8 taco shells Corn or Flour Tortillas
  • 1 cup Lettuce shredded
  • 1 cup Tomato diced
  • 0.5 cup Cheddar Cheese shredded
  • 0.5 cup Sour Cream optional
  • 0.25 cup Cilantro chopped, optional

Method
 

Prepare the Filling
  1. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
  2. Add diced onion and bell pepper, sauté until softened.
  3. Add ground chicken to the skillet, breaking it apart with a spatula.
  4. Stir in chili powder, cumin, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
  5. Cook until the chicken is fully cooked, about 8-10 minutes.
Assemble the Tacos
  1. Warm taco shells according to package instructions.
  2. Fill each taco shell with the ground chicken mixture.
  3. Top with shredded lettuce, diced tomato, cheddar cheese, sour cream, and cilantro as desired.
  4. Serve immediately and enjoy!
