  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1 large lemon zested and juiced
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 cup parmesan cheese grated
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley chopped, for garnish

Method
 

Prepare the Sauce
  1. In a saucepan, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute.
  2. Pour in the chicken broth and bring to a simmer. Let it cook for about 5 minutes.
  3. Add the heavy cream, lemon juice, and lemon zest. Stir well to combine and let it simmer for another 5-7 minutes until slightly thickened.
  4. Season with salt and black pepper. Stir in the grated parmesan cheese until melted and smooth.
  5. Remove from heat and serve over your favorite pasta, garnished with fresh parsley.
