Ingredients
  

Shrimp Filling
  • 1 pound shrimp peeled and deveined
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil for cooking
  • 1 cup celery finely chopped
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise for dressing
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice freshly squeezed
  • 1 tablespoon fresh dill chopped
  • 1 teaspoon salt to taste
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper to taste
Buns
  • 4 pieces soft rolls hot dog or sandwich rolls
Garnish
  • 1 cup lettuce shredded
  • 1 medium tomato sliced

Method
 

Prepare the Shrimp
  1. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add shrimp and cook until pink and opaque, about 3-4 minutes per side.
  2. Remove from heat and let cool slightly before chopping into bite-sized pieces.
Make the Filling
  1. In a mixing bowl, combine chopped shrimp, celery, mayonnaise, lemon juice, dill, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
Assemble the Rolls
  1. Split the rolls and fill each with the shrimp mixture. Top with shredded lettuce and tomato slices.
  2. Serve immediately on a platter.
