Ingredients
  

Salad Base
  • 2 cans tuna drained
  • 1 cup celery diced
  • 1 cup mayonnaise or Greek yogurt
  • 1 cup red onion finely chopped
  • 1 cup sweet pickle relish
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice freshly squeezed
  • 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 teaspoon salt to taste
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper to taste
Optional Add-ins
  • 1 cup cherry tomatoes halved
  • 1 avocado diced for creaminess
  • 1 cup mixed greens for serving

Method
 

Prepare the Salad
  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine the drained tuna, diced celery, chopped red onion, and sweet pickle relish.
  2. Add the mayonnaise, lemon juice, Dijon mustard, salt, and black pepper. Mix well until all ingredients are combined.
  3. Taste and adjust seasoning if necessary.
Serve
  1. If using, gently fold in cherry tomatoes and diced avocado.
  2. Serve on a bed of mixed greens or in a sandwich.
